If you use VW, you *must* pay the cost, even if you can't afford the cost in pool. If you can't afford the next piece, you are ousted. Who says money can buy anything? Jere Culleton (Rush Rules!!!)

Similarily - the acting minion cannot choose not to equip with the equipment drawn after a successful Vast Wealth-induced action. If the equipment costs enough to oust his Methuselah, then his Methuselah is ousted. You only get options described on the card or in the rulebook. -- ----- L.
