Can Cavalier be used on a rescue (vampire from torpor) ? Does it matter who pays? Matt

[ quoted text not captured ] "6.5.3. Rescue a Vampire from Torpor The cardless action costs 2 blood, which can be paid by the acting vampire or the rescued vampire, or the cost may be split between them." Cavalier: "Once per turn, when this vampire successfully performs an action that costs 1 or more blood..." Cavalier doesn't say "...that this vampire pays." So, by card text, yes Cavalier can be used, and no it doesn't matter who pays it. -John Flournoy

Correct.
