Immortal Grapple: Can either minion in a immortal grapple steal or destroy equipment. I assume that the answer is no, but would like verification before I go to play in the next tourney. Nothing else. Any strike that is not a hand strike cannot be used. This includes: Strike: Steal/Destroy equipment Dodge Strike: Combat Ends Weapons of any type (even ones that are based on a minions hand damage) Thaumaturgy strikes (that aren't hand strikes) Quiteus strikes (that aren't hand strikes) anything that is not a hand strike. Keep in mind that most Potence cards add to a minions hand damage, so are useable (other than Thrown Sewer Lid/Gate/Car), including Torn Signpost (which does nothing but set a vampires base hand damage at 2 or 3). Play Torn Signpost, Fists of Death, Immortaly Grapple your foe, and strike with Undead Strength for 7 hand damage. Then chuckle. Protean cards like Wolf Claws modify a minions hand damage, so they are useable too, as are cards like Kabhar-Honor and Lucky Blow, both of which modify a vampires hand damage. Weapons, even hand damage based ones, like Sengir Dagger and Bastard Sword, are not, as they are Weapon Strikes (doing damage based on your hand damage), and not hand strikes. So to directly answer your question, no, you cannot steal/destroy equipment while Immortally Grappled, as it is not a Hand Strike. You can just punch someone. Hopefully, you will be punching them for alot, and their equipment will be useless anyway. Peter D Bakija PD...@aol.com "Come on baby, papa needs a new Sword of Wounding!" -Langley
