Here愀 a question regarding the Discard Phase and the special from Rachel. The rulebook states, that you can discard one card during your Discard Phase and draw a new one. If I were to use the Barrens and/or the Fragment of the Book Nod after the Influence Phase, i.e. during the Discard Phase, would the cards I have to discard count towards Rachels special, i.e. go into my library again ? Different question: What happens to cards 'stolen' with Agaitas and discarded when you have Rachel Brandywine? Card text suggests the cards are discarded anyway (and so go to your prey's ash heap), but OTOH nothing seems to prevent you from retrieving those cards from his ash heap into your library, and that just sounds wrong. I think you need errata to 'cards discarded [to your ash heap]...' :/ Flux

[ quoted text not captured ] This may not mean much, but cards stolen by Agiatas aren't actually in your hand, they just count against your hand, and thus really not discarded from your hand.

[ quoted text not captured ] I think it's the other way around, the cards are still in your hand, they're just visible to all players (like in sup Revelations). Text on Agaitas says the cards are still considered to be in your hand, to be played or discarded as usual. ...and either way makes no difference anyway, since the only requirement on Rachel is that the cards are 'discarded', doesn't matter where to or from. You can't ever have an oppenents cards enter your library. Niko "Flux" <fl...@netc.pt> wrote in message news:3D586721...@netc.pt... [ quoted text not captured ] No errata needed. [RTR 25-APR-1997] handles this already. The card would be "returned" to its owner's library. [ quoted text not captured ]

So, can anyone think of a way to use this? :) Flux
