Hi LSJ I have a question (I post here cause there could be a general interest). This is merely a question, not criticism in any way. What is the policy for WW "playtesting-secrets"? (can愒 find a better word, sorry, I惴 swedish) I mean stuff like what the playtesters/designers can reveal, how long they have to keep silent about their work and so on. Or is the policy itself "for playtesters eyes only"? I ask this because sometimes when you ask/suggests/airs an opinion at a discussion forum like this one, you get this "you are wrong, you don愒 know what you are saying, but we/they cannot say anything"-attitude from people who claim/hint to be (or have been, or have once talked to/seen/touched one of the) playtesters. It can get frustrating sometimes, as this is a forum for discussion. For people who wants to know things, or just like to discuss. Sorry if this has been answered many times before, or of there are some document published somewhere that I have missed. Thanks.

Or is the policy itself "for playtesters > eyes only"? The policy is given in each Non-Disclosure Agreement. A non-legal summarization: It basically covers all information provided by the company for a duration of eighteen months. > I ask this because sometimes when you ask/suggests/airs an opinion at > a discussion forum like this one, you get this "you are wrong, you > don愒 know what you are saying, but we/they cannot say > anything"-attitude from people who claim/hint to be (or have been, or > have once talked to/seen/touched one of the) playtesters. Feel free to ignore them or point out that, in the absence of the information that they cannot legally provide as a basis for their claims, you'll continue to "muddy through" with what is known. > Sorry if this has been answered many times before, or of there are > some document published somewhere that I have missed. > > Thanks. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
