Hey everyone. (INTRO YADDA-YADDA. Skip if you're bored) I'm new to the group: this is my first post and I'll propably stick to keeping a low profile and only dropping by once in a while to check in on the progress and development of V:TES. I've been a player with a smaller local playgroup for quite some time (which my nickname makes quite obvious) however we don't have the most up to date rulebook around here as finding a shop that stocks newer V:TES cards is hard. That's why the question might be a bit stupid. I also tried searching but did not come up with any satisfying results/answers. (RULES QUESTION) What kind of Cross-Table Actions/Reactions are allowed? I know that without special cards BLEED (d) Actions are always directed at your prey. A few cards are the exception to this rule. I know that undirected actions (equip, political) can only be blocked by your prey and predator (in that order). Of course, a few cards (eagle's sight) allow you to circumvent this restriction. But what I'm unsure about are (d) Actions such as regular Rushes, Burning the Mob Connections, Stealing the Rack, Emptying a Powerbase... Someone here willing to help? Thanks in advance.

Harass, Ambush, etc.) D actions provided by a card in play may be taken by anyone, unless card text limits this. So yes, you can steal the Rack cross-table (its an action directed at the Rack's current controller). Regards DaveZ Atom Weaver

Can I get an official okay on this from someone?

In general, the "correct" answers to (relatively) basic questions will not be flagged for additional confirmation from me -- you can assume that the other readers here will provide correct answers to basic questions (and, when they don't, that a bunch of other posters will gleefully point out the error in the answer :-). If you want an official answer/confirmation regardless, just include "[LSJ]" in your subject -- I'll be along to rubber stamp it eventually. :-) -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
