Immortal Grapple states "Only hand strikes may be used in this combat". Does this mean this round of combat only or the entire combat ? Also, are Thaumaturgy strikes considered to be hand strikes, or are they considered to be magical strikes and therefore unusable when Immortal Grapple is played ? Mark.

They are not hand strikes. Anything which isn't based on hand damage isn't a hand strike. Melee weapons, despite being based on hand damage, are also not hand strikes. So Scorpion Sting is a hand strike, Undead Strength is a hand strike, but Theft of Vitae is not, nor is Body of Sun or Meat Cleaver. -- James Coupe (Prince of Mercia, England) Vampire: Elder Kindred Network http://madnessnetwork.hexagon.net http://www.obeah.demon.co.uk

For completeness, I would add: Undead Strength is a hand strike, when used with only hand damage - not when used with a melee weapon. [ quoted text not captured ]
