They are not hand strikes.
Anything which isn't based on hand damage isn't a hand strike. Melee
weapons, despite being based on hand damage, are also not hand strikes.
So Scorpion Sting is a hand strike, Undead Strength is a hand strike,
but Theft of Vitae is not, nor is Body of Sun or Meat Cleaver.
