Even though the Tremere Antitribu are extinct can Ian Forrestal & Haven

Giving him the Haven Affinity so that he now has Every Discipline at

I thought of this, but my group and i came up with because he doesn't
have the disciplines, but can merely play cards as if he did, no this
doesn't help him, as an added problem, all the disciplines he ever
can "have", the three tremere, or others via card, are already at
superior. To bad, would have been a fun read: 'broken' combo

hey speaking of weird combos with clan impersonation, does anyone think
that the oldie but goodie, masika impersonating malkavian with a madness
network in play is a good (read: broken) idea... what exactly could he
do???

It is called Masika's Mad Harem and it is a deadly combonation in but is
extremely vulnerable to rush. I recommend lots of Manuvers, Zoe,
Victoria, and Dancing Dana as well.

The "Mad Masika's Harem" type decks can be fun, but certainly aren't
broken.
Broken tends to be reserved for "This is very powerful, hard to defend
against and cheap."

You forgot "and easy to get set up and rolling."
Clan impersonating Masika AND getting the MadNet in play AND getting
the Assault Rifle on him so that he doesn't go "pop" like a ripe
balloon... that is not 'easy to get set up and rolling'.
Once you GET it there, it's very powerful and hard to defend against,
since he stops everything you do, bleeds for 10 a turn, and blows your
head off if you block him. But it's tricky to get there.

I've always been a fan of the "Texas Chainsaw Masika" deck; add Talbot's
on top of it all. The problem with Talbot's is getting the 3 blood or a
minion every turn to pay for it. In a 6 player game, you can get the
Chainsaw and go after 5 people before paying the 3, not to mention the
people Masika blocks trying to take out the Madness Network. If you can
find a good target with 3 blood and have a Taste of Vitae in hand, you can
more than get back the 3 by the time your turn comes around.
This can be fun, but is hardly devastating (read: broken) the setup is
long and involved, and with as much animalism is in our group these days,
I've give poor Masika about 2 combats before someone ripped out a Canine
Horde to piss in his Cheerios. =)

Canine Horde, hell. The last time I trundled out my Talbot's deck, it
was vaporized after one turn of use by an Anarch Troublemaker.
Which certainly saved my vampires a lot of blood, but also sort of
pulled the teeth out of the deck. Messy.

Need I point out Giovanni=Necromancy=Whispers from the Dead?
Or heck, even multiple copies of Talbot's and Vast Wealth, or Patrizia
and Magic of the Smith?

yeah, you gotta pay for it again, but still

Well, but it wasn't a Giovanni Talbot's deck. Amazing, I know, but
Derek tries whatever he can to be something no one else has done, and our
group sees plenty enough Giovanni from me every week.

Unless you use Ambrosius, of course, but that's been done to death. =)

Heh..uh..whoops! Ironically, I think the deck had the Restoration/Blood
Doll thing going to get the 3 back every turn, and some pool gain, so
"paying for it again" was just another 3, what with Blood Dolls allowing you
to "shuffle the books" and make blood look like pool and vice versa.
Of course, as Derek said, the Anarch Troublemaker popped up so fast that
he basically had to wall up, so I still can't really say what the deck was
supposed to do. By the time he got another Talbot's in hand, the
Troublemaker was back to me and waiting. I don't even recall if it was my
Troublemaker or not; everyone seems to play with it these days (round 'bout
these parts, that is)

Plus, the rewritten Misdirection makes Anarch Troublemaker more valuable,
more so with Sabbat War's equipment-boosting cards.
I could see a Ventrue tap-n-bleed with multiple Anarch Troublemakers and
Praxis Solomon. Use the Troublemaker, contest it next turn, then Solomon
it back into your control. Season with Thanks for the Donation.

That was, in this case, the problem. I had a second Talbot's in hand,
but I was somewhere floating at around 7 pool, and was definitely in
NO shape to be paying for another one. I had some decent blood gain
floating around, so I figured I'd hang out and give it a run at
things.

Wouldn't you have to do the sasme for Violette? Violette Prentis is the 4 cap
Ventrue with PRE and dom. Maybe you're thinking Violet Tremain? (6 cap Tzimisce
with dom, pre, vis, and tha. Bishop with capacity reducing ability).
Halcyan 2

Oh yeah. Come to think of it, are we sure a "girlfriend" is exactly what Sascha
is looking for? A lot of Tzimisice are a bit ambiguous, but Sascha takes this
to an entirely new level!
Halcyan 2
Ah, you're right, I meant Violet Tremain !!!
with such a large array of names, how do we come to have 2 violet(te), 2
Lolita, 2 Ian, 2 Ingrid, 2 Roland, 2 Victor, 2 Sarah 1 Fransisco, 1
Francisca, 1 Fransiscus, 1 Harika & 1 Arika, 1 Lazar & 1 Lazarus and other
very close & somtime confusing names...
By the way, yes, Sascha could be happier with Vincent Day as a very close
relative...
