Why was the errata put on Elder Impersonation? The failed blocker is not untapped, but rather "not tapped" - if the blocker was tapped originally, he will remain tapped (errata). [RTR 19960708] A vampire using Wake should not be untapped. The original intent of the card was to leave the blocking vampire in their original state. "Untapped" does that in all circumstances, except a vampire who was originally tapped and used Wake, or whatever. "Not tapped" does it in all circumstances. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D | ja...@zephyr.org.uk (New e-mail) "Who'd have ever predicted the moment would come when I find myself grateful they've kept women dumb? Does this errata alieviate the superior OBF Faceless Night and Elder Impersonation combo? [ quoted text not captured ]

No. Elder Impersonation doesn't cancel a tapping effect - it just reminds the reader that, as the block was unsuccessful, the would-be blocker is not tapped for successfully blocking. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
