Well, I have a ventrue deck and I started a setite one but they kinda suck. My Malk deck is cool too so I want to start making a Ravnos deck. I have heard that they are good with guns but that's it. No one in my group plays em so i was wondering if the suck (kinda of like the setites) or if they are worth playing. Sensory Deprivation seem to be their only cool card, (that I've seen) As far as their other disciplines go, I would rather use gangral cause Protean and Fortitude is nice. If any out there has seen a cool Ravnos deck, please let me know. I am also looking for some cards for the deck too. Thanks for your help. Br...@kellco.com

This is mal...@macatawa.org posting from another account. I played a neat Ravnos deck recently. It's big thing was to play Horrid Reality, bring out an Assault rifle (the only weapon in the deck, with about 3 or 4 of them). The assault rifle was given Dragon Breath Rounds. With superior Chimerstry, the rifle would be taken out of the ashheap after combat and shuffled back into the deck. That's 7 damage, 2 of which are aggro. (I think, maybe it was 6). It was fun to play.

It was fun to play. Officially, the burned weapon would remain burned. The "Reshuffle" effect of superior Horrid Reality only kicks in if the weapon is still in play at the end of combat. -- L. Horrid Reality can bve fun, too, pulling out an assault rifle or flamethrower to hose a particularly nasty blocker/bleeder. I made a fairly interesting deck designed around the action which one of the largest Ravnos (I don't remember his name) takes to pick a random card from a Methuselah's hand, and if it is a retainer or weapon, to get it for no cost. The legality of it is questionable, as I used this action against myself. The card simply says "a methuselah" and not "another methuselah," but is a directed action, so my playgroup agreed to let me go ahead with it, legal or not, as an undirected action. Anyway, the crypt consisted of sundry Ravnos and Gangrels with four copies of the big guy (I think there were 14 total in the crypt). The library was, basically, all the cool weapons and useful retainers I had, including assault rifles, submachine guns, flamethrowers, and the like. The interesting twist is that most of the retainers would not normally be usable by the Ravnos, but there is no stipulation on the action that they have to be, so corpse minions became a nice addition, along with other clan and discipline specific retainers. It was slow getting going, and didn't win, but it was fun blocking an action with a guy who had a ghoul retainer, a flamethrower, an assault rifle, and a corpse minion, all gained at no cost. Sorry if I waxed a little long winded there. Wallpaper Paste for all those useless cards

Many playgroups have a house rule that allows self-(D) actions to become non-(D) (excepting self-bleed, self-combat, which is disallow). @ The Corrupter - Adrian Lee Sullivan @ GAT/CS/WS R+++* r(+)>++ # Gamer Coffee-Addict Scripter Author # C(+++)$ USX+$ N++ e+* @#$ Comments ? sull...@cslab.uwlax.edu $#@ tv(+)> X++ b++(+++) @#$ <http://cslab.uwlax.edu/~sulli_al/jyhad> $#@ PS+&-+ PE&-&++ z*+?

Kiss of Ra works wonders on frail kindred as well... The problems I had with it was that it requires a lot of blood from your vampires and a lot of pool for Rom Gypsies if you use them. But they have good survivability vs rushes and can bleed as well as Sesory Deprivaton. my $.02 Rich Take life with a grain of salt.

The basic deck is simple: Trap, Drawing out the Beast, Apparation (or other damage prevention). This guarantees torpor on pretty much everyone except S:CEnders. Occasionally, top off the combo with a Horrid Reality Flamethrower (burn). Probably the toughest combat deck I have ever seen, if not the most boring after the 5th time you play it.
