If a Toreador has more than one Aching Beauty, does it cost 1 pool per
Aching Beauty to block that Toreador, or just 1 pool total?

Yup, yup. It's sweetness.

It certainly is. Someone borrowed my deck of me on Tues Night. They
had a weenie toreador with 2 Aching Beauties. I'm on two pool.
Tor: I bleed you using Enchant Kindered for 2
ME: Block, lose two pool, get ousted. Don't block and can't reduce
or deflect, get ousted. Decision. Block, they don't get edge, and it
becomes uncontrolled.
Nice to see my deck do well, nicer to see it do well in my hands.
Never mind!

Once this happened as the first four turns in a tournament I played:
Turn one, influence 4 to anson.
Turn two, get Anson active
Turn three, put two aching beauties on Anson, Enchant Kindred Victoria
Ash, influence in Victoria Ash.
Turn four, put two Aching Beauties on Victoria Ash, Bleed (with Aire
of Elation and change of target in my hand) get blocked, change of
target,
Start Voting (with Scorn of Adonis sitting in my hand) Kine resources
contested
Well, you get the drill... unfortunatly, no VP, since my prey had a
little bit to though AntiMalk Bleed deck that wiped the table (3 times
in the tournie).

Let me guess pepijn Tilburg??
Bad memories about that one.
Well the Aching Beauty combo is all nice and dandy but it usually
takes to damn long to get it working.
I had fun last tournament here in Holland in Deventer my predator had
a (he was a very inexperienced player) Torreador Aching beauty deck.
Torreador Aching Beauty i thought I would be in trouble since my anti
malk deck only had 5 Misderections fortuonatly I got around to
Deranging both Anson and Victoria Ash who both had 2 and 3 Aching
Beauty's on them oh the sweetness of Madness:)
The weenie angle with Achings is cool though perhaps we'll get mroe
weenie pre Toreador vampires with the new Camerilla set then you can
use them together with Awe and have the voting power too.
